PT. Asuransi Bringin Sejahtera Artamakmur (BSAM) is a national insurance company founded by pension fund of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Limited). The company was founded in April 17 th , 1989 based on Muhaini Salim SH, notary act number 121 in jakarta and registered by ministry of justice of Republic of Indonesia at May 3, 1989 No.CC2.4160.HT.01.01.

The company received insurance license from Ministry of Finance with authorization No.KEP128/ILM/131989 AT August 26, 1989.
In the beginning, the objective of Bringin General Insurance where its majority share owned by Pension Fund of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia , was to protect asset of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and clients asset collated to PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia . Later in its development, Bringin General Insurance expanded its market share not only within their internal market ( Bank Rakyat Indonesia and its affiliates), but also serve wider market such as businessman, individuals, state-owned national and local companies, private national and foreign companies as well as government. In January 8, 1998 , by law, Bringin General Insurance was changed by Notary Siti Rubiah Zulhaimi, SH in Jakarta , with change number 8, and authorized by Ministry of justice No.C2.4162.HT.01.04 in April 23, 1998 .

Bringin General Insurance has received trust to manage risk not only Bank Rakyat Indonesia but also from state-owned and private banks, state-owned and private companies, foreign companies as well as wider Community. The Bringin General Insurance has been motivated to widen is business, increase sufficiency and professionalism with its increasing clients out of Bank Rakyat Indonesia , to cover their risks of assets and activities. Bringin General Insurance has been shown its obligations to settle the claims. Its growth cannot be separated from support and good cooperation with insurance brokers, reinsurance brokers and reinsurance companies in Indonesia and abroad.

To date, Bringin General Insurance has passed its 22 th year existence, almost reaching two decade. Age which an insurance company reaching its maturity to widen the business network, service to clients, Bringin General Insurance is now widening its network with 14 branch offices, and representatives. The branches will be increasing overtime along with the growing trust and clients need.
